REMEMBERING TYLER LAMPE

The Tyler Lampe Foundation is a heartfelt tribute to the life and legacy of Tyler Lampe, a remarkable individual whose passion for God, family, and football illuminated his life. Tyler's love for sports, particularly football and golf, was a cornerstone of his identity, as he devoted himself to playing, coaching, and nurturing the talents of students and athletes.

Tyler's coaching career began at Lake Howell High School in 2009, where he dedicated eleven seasons to shaping the Silverhawks' football program. His commitment and expertise then led him to Oviedo High School, where he served as the Offensive Coordinator, leaving an indelible mark on the team and the players he mentored. Beyond the football field, Tyler's impact extended into the classroom, where he was a cherished teacher in both the Autistic Spectrum Disorder classroom and Career and Technical Education department.

In January 2021, Tyler faced his most formidable opponent yet when he was diagnosed with Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), a rare blood disorder secondary to Large T-Cell Lymphoma, a type of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Despite the daunting challenges, Tyler confronted his illness with unwavering courage, fighting alongside his team on the Bone Marrow Transplant floor at AdventHealth Orlando for nine months. On October 7, 2021, Tyler's valiant battle came to an end, leaving behind a profound legacy of resilience and inspiration.

As Matthew 6:3 reminds us, "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing," Tyler exemplified this selfless ethos throughout his life. Driven by Tyler's spirit and the desire to make a difference, the Tyler Lampe Foundation stands as a beacon of hope and support for those affected by cancer. With a mission deeply rooted in honoring Tyler's memory, the foundation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of others through advocacy, assistance, and raising awareness about these devastating diseases.

Through community engagement, fundraising initiatives, and educational outreach, the Tyler Lampe Foundation seeks to empower individuals and families facing similar challenges, ensuring they receive the support and resources needed to navigate their journey with strength and resilience. By uniting in Tyler's memory, the foundation strives to leave a lasting impact on the fight against blood cancers, embodying the spirit of determination and compassion that defined Tyler's life.
